
Pedestrian Struck and Killed in Phoenix

Phoenix, Arizona—Phoenix Police responded to a call of a pedestrian accident near McDowell Road and 43rd Avenue at about 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon.
Accident investigators have not released the names of anyone involved and the victim was identified only as a 70-year-old man. He was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The vehicle reportedly was turning onto McDowell Road from a private driveway when it struck the man. The driver remained at the scene and the accident investigation is ongoing.
