Phoenix, Arizona—Officer Sean George of the Phoenix Police Department is in critical condition following a car accident in Cave Creek on Thursday afternoon.
According to a spokesman for the Phoenix Police Department, Officer George was on-duty and driving an unmarked police vehicle when the collision occurred. He was departing from a department precinct when the crash occurred involving a vehicle that was proceeding northbound on Cave Creek Road. The occupant of the second vehicle suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment.
