Steven Hoffman Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver While Walking on Sidewalk

Phoenix, Arizona—Phoenix Police are searching for the driver of a Ford Expedition who drove onto the sidewalk near Dunlap Road and 23rd Avenue and struck Steven Hoffman, Jr., age 37, leaving him dead at the scene.  The tragic incident occurred just after midnight on Tuesday.

Accident investigators describe the vehicle as possibly dark green.

The family is pleading with the public to come forward with any knowledge regarding this accident.  Anyone with information should call either Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or 480-TESTIGO.  You may remain anonymous.
