
Bicyclist Seriously Injured in Accident Involving Cooper Lamb, Son of Pinal County Sheriff

Pinal County, Arizona—Cooper Lamb, the son of Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb, is suspected of striking and injuring a bicyclist while driving impaired.
Deputies responded to an accident on Wednesday night involving a bicyclist and a vehicle driven by Mr. Lamb. Sheriff Lamb asked the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office to handle the accident investigation due to the conflict.
The MCSO’s Vehicular Crimes Unit was assigned to the case and subsequently impounded the vehicle as evidence. Charges may be filed pending results of toxicology tests. The unidentified bicyclist remains hospitalized in critical condition.
