Father and Daughter Injured When Pickups Collide on Fain Road in Prescott Valley
Prescott, Arizona—A man in his forties and his 9-year-old daughter were seriously injured when their pickup truck clipped the rear wheels of another pickup, then rolled several times in Prescott Valley on Wednesday morning just before 10:00 a.m.
The accident occurred near the intersection of Fain Road and Sara Jane Lane. The Arizona Department of Public Safety reports that the red Toyota Tundra the man was driving was southbound on Fain when it drifted into the northbound lanes. The flatbed trailer it was pulling struck the rear wheels of a blue Ford dually truck, causing the Toyota to roll several times.
The driver of the Ford and his passenger were not injured. Both the father and daughter in the Toyota were air evac'd to Phoenix—the father to a level 1 trauma center and the daughter to a pediatric hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Our best wishes are with the father and his daughter as they heal.
