Gloria Miller Killed in Golf Cart Accident

Prescott, Arizona—Gloria Miller, age 75, died as a result of injuries she received Monday afternoon when she was thrown from a golf cart during a sharp turn. Ms. Miller’s daughter, Gina Hawes of Cordes Lakes, was the driver of the cart when the tragic incident occurred.
Yavapai County Sheriff’s accident investigators report that Ms. Hawes’ blood-alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit.
