Fatal Head-On Crash on SR-69 Near Mayer

Mayer, Arizona—A head-on collision yesterday on SR-69 near Mayer has claimed the life of one person.
According to a spokesman for the Department of Public Safety, the collision occurred shortly after noon when a pickup truck and SUV collided head-on after one of the vehicles crossed into oncoming traffic. The pickup truck rolled over and the its driver was ejected and killed.
The driver of the SUV was taken to a hospital in Phoenix with undisclosed injuries.
We offer our condolences to the friends and family of the driver killed in this collision. We wish the driver of the SUV a speedy and complete recovery.
Update
Anthony Dabbs has been identified as the victim who died as a result of the accident.
