Prescott, Arizona—A car accident on Tuesday morning has killed one man and left another with serious injuries. The accident occurred on Williamson Valley and Stazenski Road in Prescott and involved a 2015 Kia Soul and 1999 Dodge pickup truck.

According to accident investigators with the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office, the Kia was turning left onto Stazenski Road from Williamson Valley Road when it was t-boned by the pickup truck. According to YCSO spokesman Dwight D'Evelyn, the pickup truck had the right-of-way.

Kaleo Greyeyes, age 22 of Prescott Valley, was driving the Kia and suffered serious injuries. He remains hospitalized at Flagstaff Medical Center but is expected to survive. His passenger, Murphy Laughter, age 27 of Prescott Valley, died from his injuries.

Police have identified Joshua Hughes, age 30 of Chino Valley, as the driver of the pickup truck. His passenger was Garrett Baker, age 20 and also of Chino Valley. Both Mr. Hughes and Mr. Baker were treated at the scene and released.

Blood tests are pending so it is unknown if impairment was a factor in this deadly collision.
