Rigoberto Parra, Jr. Injured in Prescott Valley Rollover Accident

Prescott Valley, Arizona—Rigoberta Parra, Jr., age 46 of Phoenix, sustained serious injuries in a rollover crash on Friday. The accident claimed the life of Shannon Heike, age 44 of Prescott Valley.
According to Officer Matt Cahill with the Prescott Valley Police Department, Ms. Heike was operating an SUV on SR-69. Mr. Parra was a passenger in the vehicle. Ms. Heike was driving at approximately 72 miles per hour when she lost control of the vehicle. The posted speed limit on this stretch of SR-69 is 55 miles per hour. The vehicle rolled and both occupants were ejected.
Mr. Parra was air evac'd to a trauma hospital in Phoenix in serious condition. Thankfully, he was released from the hospital on Saturday. Ms. Heike sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
