Dewey-Humboldt, Arizona—A family of four was injured when their Toyota Corolla was struck by an impaired driver on SR-69 near Orange Road on Sunday night. The 67-year-old driver of the Dodge Charger that struck them was not injured, but is facing DUI charges.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the family of four was air evacuated to a Phoenix hospital. Parents Victor and Jannette Sanchez, ages 27 and 25 respectively, are reportedly in stable condition. Their one-month-old son has non-life-threatening injuries. Elijah Sanchez, age 6, remains in critical condition. A GoFundMe account has been established to help the family with expenses.
