Zachary Geise Killed, Two Others Injured in Rollover Accident
Chino Valley, Arizona—Zachary Geise, age 23 of Cave Creek, was killed Sunday when the Jeep Wrangler he was driving left the road and rolled. The tragic accident occurred on Perkinsville Road, about 13 miles east of Chino Valley.
Two other occupants of the vehicle, identified only as a 14 year old boy from Chino Valley and a 17 year old boy from Paulden, were injured in the mishap. Their injuries reportedly were not life-threatening.
Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office investigators report that Mr. Geise was not wearing a seatbelt when the rollover occurred, but both passengers were restrained by seatbelts. YCSO officers believe that speed and distracted driving were factors in the accident.
We express our sympathy to Mr. Geise’s family and friends, and we wish the injured boys quick and complete recoveries from their injuries.
