
Head-On Collision Caused by Tire Blowout Claims Three Lives in Reno, Nevada Accident

Tonopah, Nevada—A head-on collision near Tonopah, Nevada claimed the lives of three people and seriously injured another.
The crash occurred on December 26th when a pickup truck driven by Harvey Gee of Manning, North Dakota experienced a blowout in the driver-side front tire. The blowout caused the vehicle to veer into the path of an SUV driven by Marie Lagman. The impact caused the SUV to rollover. Investigators have not revealed the make and model of the tire that failed.
Ms. Lagman's parents, Augusto and Nieve Lagman, were passengers in the SUV. All three were wearing seatbelts but did not survive the crash.
Mr. Gee, the driver of the pickup truck, was airlifted to Renown Regional Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
