Karen Foxworth and Charles Foxworth Killed, Three Injured in Tanker Crash

Meadview, Arizona—Karen and Charles Foxworth, ages 60 and 59 respectively, were killed early Wednesday afternoon when their car crashed into an empty gas tanker on Diamond Bar Road. 

The Foxworth’s adult children, Charles and Laura, were backseat passengers in the car.  Both were air evac'd to University Medical Center in Las Vegas with serious injuries.

The driver of the truck, Cory Schober, age 56 of Phoenix, also was flown to University Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.

Mohave County Sheriff’s Office accident investigators report that the Foxworth family was visiting Arizona from their home in Conyers, Georgia.

We extend our condolences to all the family members and friends of the Foxworths and we wish Laura, Charles and Cory speedy and complete recoveries from their injuries.
