Several Injured in Phoenix Accident Involving Semi-Truck and Three Cars

Phoenix, Arizona—A serious crash involving four vehicles, including a semi-truck, left at least three people with serious injuries. The accident occurred on Interstate 10 at 91st Avenue yesterday at about 4:00 p.m.

Emergency personnel from three agencies responded to render aid to victims, including crews from Phoenix, Avondale and Tolleson. Two people had to be extricated from the wreckage, including one person who was trapped for nearly an hour.

The accident is being investigated by the Arizona Department of Public Safety. There is no word on the conditions of those injured.
