Gila Bend, Arizona—Bobbie Rincon of Phoenix and two of her children, Javier Rincon, age 11, and Alicia Rincon, age 6, were killed in a tragic accident on SR-85 near Gila Bend last week.  The family was returning from a trip to Mexico.

According to accident investigators with teh Arizona Department of Public Safety, a semi-truck collided head-on with their minivan.  The three died in the resulting fire that engulfed their vehicle.  The driver of the semi-truck escaped injury. DPS offered no information on the circumstances leading to the head-on collision.

Bobbie’s two other children, Bianca Rincon, age 15, and Cruz Rincon, age 13 , were not with the rest of the family on the trip.  Bobbie's brother, David Rincon, plans to legally adopt Bianca and Cruz.  A GoFundMe page has been established to help David with the costs of the funeral and legal adoption.

We extend our deep sympathies to the Rincon family and friends on the loss Bobbie, Javier and Alicia.
