Hidalgo County, New Mexico—Arnold Rojo, age 51, and Susan Rojo, age 47, both of Sierra Vista, Arizona, were killed along with two others in a fiery crash in western New Mexico on Sunday afternoon. A 13-year-old passenger in their vehicel was transported to a hospital in critical condition.

New Mexico State Police accident investigators report that a 2015 Freightliner semi-truck traveling eastbound on Interstate 10 crossed the center median and struck a westbound 2013 Kenworth semi-truck head-on at mile marker 19 near Lordsburg.  The Freightliner then struck a Dodge pickup that also was traveling west.  Both semis caught fire.

Also killed in the horrific crash were Sean White, age 50 of west Covina, California, the driver of the Freightliner, and Jose Apodaca, age 47 of El Paso, the driver of the Kenworth.

We extend our sympathy to the victims’s families and friends over the tragic loss.
