
Tanker Truck Strikes Several Cars as it Rolls, Seven Injured

Phoenix, Arizona—A tanker truck carrying 8,000 gallons of jet fuel rolled over several vehicles in south Phoenix on Monday morning, injuring seven people. The accident occurred on Lower Buckeye Road between 59th and 63rd Avenues.
The 55-year old-male driver of the tanker and the 25-year-old male driver of a pickup truck were transported to nearby trauma centers, as were three women, ages 19, 27 and 53.
A passing motorist smashed the pickup truck’s window in order to safely extract the driver.
