Todd Welliver Killed, Three Injured After Semi-Truck Plows Into Mesa House

Mesa, Arizona—One person is dead and three other injured after a semi-truck plowed into a house near the US-60 and Crismon.

According to accident investigators with the Mesa Police Department, the semi-truck was eastbound on US-60 and exiting at Crismon when it failed to stop and proceeded through the intersection and into a house.

There were ten people inside the house at the time of the crash. Todd Welliver, age 50, was rushed to the hospital where he later died. Three other occupants of the home were taken to an area hospital with undisclosed injuries.

Investigators are working to determine whether impairment or a medical emergency were factors in the crash. The accident remains under investigation and no charges have been filed yet.
