
Charles Smith Seriously Injured in Construction Site Accident

Benson, Arizona—Charles Smith, age 43 of New Mexico, sustained severe head injuries Friday morning when a half-ton Ford pickup truck backed into him. Mr. Smith was working at the time. The vehicle that backed into him is company-owned.
Mr. Smith was airlifted to University Medical Center in Tucson. There is currently no further word about his condition.
The accident closed eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 at milepost 301.
Accident investigators continue their search for more information about the accident.
