Head-on Collision Kills Border Patrol Agent Daniel Cox, One Other

Sells, Arizona—A head-on car accident outside Sells early Saturday morning killed both drivers. The collision occurred on SR-86 at milepost 128.
Multiple law and emergency agencies, including an air evacuation unit, responded to the accident scene. One of the victims was identified as Daniel P. Cox, a Border Patrol Agent working out of the Tucson sector. Agent Cox had been with the United States Border Patrol for 24 years.
The collision remains under investigation by the Tohono O'odham Police Department.
