Tucson, Arizona—Eddie Kim, age 70, was killed when a Chrysler PT Cruiser reportedly failed to yield the right of way and struck Mr. Kim’s car broadside.  The car accident occurred at Grant Road and Palo Verde Boulevard on Thursday night at about 8:30 p.m.

Mr. Kim was partially ejected from his GMC Yukon, which required extrication from beneath it.  He succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.  According to Tucson Police Department accident investigators, the driver of the PT Cruiser and four children inside were not injured.

No citations have yet been issued.  Accident investigators ask anyone with information to call 88-CRIME.

Our sympathies are with Mr. Kim’s family and friends at this time of great loss for them.
