Fedyst Fomeche Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident

Tucson, Arizona—Fedyst Fomeche, age 28, died from injuries he received in a collision early Wednesday morning.  Tucson Police Department accident investigators report that Mr. Fomeche was southbound on Wilmot Road near Broadway Boulevard when he was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Jeremy Jay Sims, age 26. 

Sims was reportedly speeding and impaired at the time of the accident.  He fled the scene on foot, but was later found at his home.  He was booked into Pima County Jail where he faces a charge of 2nd degree murder.
