Elderly Couple Killed, Two Others Injured in Oro Valley Car Accident

Oro Valley, Arizona—Oro Valley Police report that a three-vehicle accident yesterday left two people dead and two more hospitalized.  The collision occurred at the intersection of La Canada Drive and Tangerine Road just after 9:00 a.m.

The as-yet unidentified female driver of one of the cars died shortly after arriving at the hospital.  Her 85 year old male passenger died at the scene.

The Department of Public Safety has not released the identities of those involved, pending notification of next of kin and the continuing investigation.
