
Alyssa Cusimano and Phillip Shelton Killed in One-Vehicle Accident

Wellton, Arizona—Alyssa Cusimano, age 20, and Phillip Shelton, age 22, were killed Saturday morning when the car driven by Mr. Shelton left the roadway on Interstate 8 and crashed into a tree. Ms. Cusimano was a passenger in the car. When the car struck the tree, it caught fire. Tragically both Ms. Cusimano and Mr. Shelton died in the burning car.
It is unknown why the car veered off the highway. The matter is under investigation by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
