
Phoenix Police Looking for Driver in Hit-and-Run Crash that Killed Alem Berhe

Phoenix, Arizona—Detectives with the Phoenix Police Department are searching for the driver of a vehicle that hit and killed Alem Berhe, age 37.
Ms. Berhe was standing on the center median of 35th Avenue at the I-10 overpass when she was hit by a car shortly before 4:00 a.m. The vehicle had just exited the freeway before driving onto the median. The driver immediately fled the collision. At this point, police do not have a description of the vehicle.
