
Conrad Alfonso Iacono Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver

Tucson, Arizona—Conrad Alfonso Iacono II, age 74, was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver Saturday night as he crossed Grant Road near Palo Verde. When Tucson Police Department officers arrived, two citizens were performing CPR on Mr. Iacono. He was transported to Banner University Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
Grant Road was closed from Sparkman to Dodge during the accident investigation. Police are still searching for the driver and vehicle involved, which they describe as a white 2011-2014 Volkswagen Jetta with significant front end and windshield damage.
