Phoenix, Arizona—A dump truck overturned onto a passenger vehicle this morning, trapping the injured car driver inside. According to Arizona Department of Public Safety accident investigators, a dump truck on Interstate 10 near University Drive and 32nd Street reportedly crossed over the eastbound lanes into a westbound lane.
The dump truck rolled onto a passenger vehicle, trapping the car’s injured driver inside. Both drivers were transported to a hospital for treatment of their injuries. All westbound lanes of I-10 were closed while authorities investigated. No additional information regarding the victims’s identities or current medical conditions was released.
