
Truck Accident on I-10 Near Tonopah Claims One Life

Tonopah, Arizona—One person is dead after a double-trailer semi-truck struck the rear of a pickup in the westbound lanes of I-10 near 339th Avenue around 1:50 a.m. last Thursday.
The pickup truck driver, a middle-aged man, was thrown from his vehicle before it became engulfed in flames. The driver of the semi-truck was transported to a hospital with what was described as breathing problems. A passenger in the semi was not injured.
Arizona Department of Public Safety accident investigators have not released the identities of those involved as their investigation continues.
